Columbia Wetlands Adventures are delighted to announce that they have successfully set the new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for 'Largest Hand Paddle / Oar' as stated in an email from Guinness World Records. For more information please download the press release.

Mark Teasdale, owner of the World’s Largest Paddle, built the paddle with master woodworker Dave Stonehouse, and was assisted by Mo and Chris Teasdale. Passionate about the value of the area, Mark aims to provide a fun way to access the Columbia River and the diversity of its wetlands.

In February 2014 the Guinness Book of World Records paperwork was completed to formally recognize the paddle’s world record status. Come visit a world-class roadside attraction!
